Job description

Amazon is deploying the largest private EV network in the world - one of the most ambitious strides towards innovation and environmental sustainability. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead design and new EV product integration for this infrastructure expansion. This role will drive the integration of new infrastructure systems into standardized templates and manage a portfolio of projects across North America.

This is a high-impact role for someone who combines technical depth and rigor with a high attention to detail and quality. You'll own the operating rhythm of a portfolio of projects to bring concepts to reality converting them to permit ready construction sets. You'll build the systems that give leadership visibility into how the portfolio is developing and drive execution across supply chain, construction, utility engagement, and product development.

You'll be a conscious thought partner to the team and organization not just executing on strategies, but helping shape them.
If you're a problem seeker who creates structure where little exists, holds relentlessly high standards, and looking to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive a portfolio of designs for electrification and infrastructure translating concepts into permit-ready construction sets
- Build and run operating mechanisms to enable new product integration at scale, driving key performance metrics
- Identify risks to goals, scope solutions, set milestones, and identify resources for resolution
- Prepare executive status updates, escalate quickly, and clear blockers, always understanding where projects/programs stand
- Create and maintain technical documentation, while serving as a liaison between product development, supply chain, and construction
- Run leadership meetings, prepare agendas, drive decisions and actions, and drive follow through
- Leverage Amazon's vast tools to create AI-enable workflows to reduce manual work to support scale
A day in the life
Your mornings may start with a team huddle with construction project managers, schedulers, and utility engagement managers to understand the milestones and blockers of your portfolio of projects. By midday you'll conduct design reviews with external architects and peer engineers to ensure adherence to standards and value engineering the system

Later in the week you'll collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders on the requirements of the next generation product. Between design workstreams you'll be developing something much larger, using the most advanced AI tooling to automate the end-to-end design lifecycle. You'll round of the week with updates to the Director/VP on program wide initiatives.
