What you will be doing as a Delivery Driver
  • This is a physical job
  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times
  • Follow a specific delivery route using a handheld device, delivering packages to residential and commercial stops
  • Customer obsessed - The company takes pride in being the best at delivering packages and smiles to our customers
  • Follow strict processes, company procedure and instructions for delivery
  • Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day. Up and down stairs, in residential areas, apartments and businesses
  • Work 10-hour shifts with multiple frequent deliveries; in & out of the truck 200+ times a day
  • Load 200+ packages into the vehicle without assistance within a 20-minute window before leaving the warehouse
Qualifications
  • Entry Level - no delivery driver experience required
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be punctual and have excellent time management skills
  • Must have a sense of urgency and be able to perform under pressure
  • Must be physically able to get in and out of a van 200+ times a day
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. boxes multiple times a day
  • Must have a valid driver's license and have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Must be able to work for periods of 10+ hours; four consecutive days at a time; 40-hour work week
  • Must be able to work Saturdays or Sundays. Weekends are required.
  • Must be comfortable in the Texas weather - year round
