Job description

Description: The SIOP Analyst supports the end-to-end Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process by delivering accurate data, actionable insights, and reliable reporting. This role plays a critical part in aligning demand, supply, inventory, and financial targets across the organization. The SIOP Analyst partners closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Operations to drive improved forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and execution across multiple distribution channels
Responsibilities:
SIOP Process Support
  • Prepare and publish all materials for monthly/weekly SIOP cycles (Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-SIOP, Executive SIOP).
  • Validate and consolidate demand, supply, inventory, and financial inputs.
  • Maintain the SIOP calendar and ensure stakeholder adherence to timelines.

Demand & Supply Analytics
  • Analyze forecast outputs, demand trends, and historical patterns to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support supply-side analytics such as capacity reviews, production constraints, and inventory projections.
  • Track forecast accuracy and bias by product family, region, and channel.
  • Support Amazon consumption-based forecasting, analyzing POS/consumption signals to identify drivers of variance and risk.

Reporting & Dashboarding
  • Build and maintain dashboards covering WOS, fill rate, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and inventory health.
  • Ensure data integrity across ERP, planning, and BI platforms.

Inventory Health & Risk Management
  • Monitor SKU-level inventory performance including excess/slow-moving inventory and safety stock adherence.
  • Support scenario modeling and what-if analyses to guide mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Provide data-driven insights during SIOP meetings to align Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams.
  • Partner with channel teams (Amazon, Retail, Distributor, DTC) to understand channel-specific demand behaviors.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis for demand/supply gaps and support corrective action closure.

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline planning workflows, improve planning maturity, and enhance reporting capability.
  • Support tool enhancements, standard templates, and SIOP process documentation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The SIOP Analyst will be measured on the following core metrics:
  • Sell-Through Forecast Accuracy ≥ 85%
  • Sell-In Forecast Accuracy ≥ 85%
  • Forecast Bias within acceptable thresholds by channel/product family
  • Consistent, on-time delivery of SIOP reporting and meeting materials
  • Inventory health metrics (e.g., WOS, excess/slow-moving inventory)
  • Data integrity and reporting accuracy across systems

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years in supply chain planning, demand planning, forecasting, or analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Advanced Excel required; BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP/planning systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Anaplan, Kinaxis) is a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon consumption forecasting or Amazon vendor analytics strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage or analyze multiple channels of distribution (Amazon, Retail, Distributor, DTC).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to cross-functional partners.
  • High attention to detail and strong data quality mindset.

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
