 Job Description

Responsible for proactively assisting with generating revenue and controlling expenses, supervision of eBooks and Shipping Department personnel, as well as inventory and stock rotation of assigned areas within the ShopGoodwill eCommerce Department.  Also responsible for monitoring and analyzing reports from marketplaces and third party platforms to support eCommerce growth, making recommendations, and communicating with outside vendors and Supervisor.  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the eCommerce shipping process, such as printing orders, ensuring packages are safely packaged with the least possible DIM weight, and maintaining shipping speed guidelines, as well as accuracy and completeness, of orders shipped.
  • Utilizes a working knowledge of report capabilities and operational functions of carriers (FedEx and USPS), Neatoscan, and Packsize, as well as th the report capabilities of Amazon, eBay, and any other platforms used.
  • Package and ship items as needed.  Scan and list eBooks product as needed.
  • Maintain eBooks listed inventory and purge older listings as directed.
  • Maintain inventory of needed shipping and eBooks listing supplies and provide timely supply order requests to Manager.
  • Train, coach, and develop Shipping and eBooks employees to ensure each employee has the proper tools for success.
  • Monitor daily production goals of individuals and teams.
  • Respond to customer enquiries within one business day or sooner.
  • Make recommendations to increase revenue and/or improve processes.
  • Open and/or close eCommerce Department as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 Qualifications
  • High school or GED equivalent.
  • Previous shipping experience preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of online sales platforms such as eBay and Amazon, and Microsoft Office software, specifically Windows and Word.  
  • General experience with doing online research is strongly desired.
  • Must have ability to analyze reports-driven data from carriers such as FedEx and USPS, as well as platforms such as Neatoscan, Packsize, Amazon, and Ebay.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
 Additional Information
  • Beginning rate of pay is $14.86 per hour.
