Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining fully automated CI/CD pipelines and processes for various applications, leveraging their strong AWS and Kubernetes experience.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze current DevSecOps technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
• Develop fully automated CI/CD pipelines including automated quality checks and security scans for Angular applications and Spring Boot Services
• Develop CI/CD standards and guidelines for developers
• Train developers on the best practices of CI/CD and DevOps
Qualifications:
Required:
• Need very strong Kubernetes experience.
• Docker containerization.
• Must have CICD pipeline experience including IAC.
• Must have strong AWS platform experience.
• Significant and recent experience at working with Terraform and YAML.
• Significant experience with DevOps and CI CD using Jenkins and Repos.
• Strong, proven experience as a DevOps engineer in a scalable production environment built on AWS.
• Strong, proven experience supporting complex applications in a large enterprise environment as per DevOps principles in an Agile environment.
• Strong, proven experience with BASH and PowerShell scripting for administration and automation, working with APIs, Microservices in Kubernetes, maintaining infrastructure in Windows and RedHat servers.
• Proven experience multi-tasking by balancing the delivery of multiple simultaneous projects, working with applications teams to deliver hosting platforms with aggressive timelines.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting issues across multiple applications and platforms.
• Experience with the Amazon AWS and application infrastructure-related activities is a must.
• Strong, Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts in AWS cloud and continuous testing activities to implement manual and automated testing of infrastructure.
• Infra as Code - Terraform and ARM Templates, though bash & AWS CLI.
• Proficiency in Github and Git version control.
• Strong Kubernetes experience.
