Job description

Requirements: • Forklift certification is preferred but not required. We can train. • Building Materials knowledge is preferred • Must be capable to write legibly and read accurately. Job Duties: • Ability to consistently lift in excess of 100 lbs. • Ability to consistently conduct basic math skills including long division and multiplication • Lift and stack dimensional lumber, plywood, and hardware. • Accurately differentiate brands, types, lengths, sizes, quantities, conditions, and grades of specific dimensional lumber, plywood, bag goods, and hardware. • Ability to consistently display superior social skills and diplomacy in a retail customer service environment. • Follow all written and unwritten company policies and procedures. • Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance of assigned work areas. • Comply with OSHA requirements and established company safety policies and procedures. • Accept and comply with all other duties as assigned or requested by management or supervisor. Physical requirements include but are not limited to: • Continuously stand, squat, hear, see, bend, stoop, grip, twist, climb, reach, walk, write, and kneel; push/pull up to 100 Lbs., and lift/carry up to 100 Lbs. • Work 8-10 hour shifts in an uncontrolled temperature environment up to 6 days per week, with frequent exposure to rain, sunshine, dust, pollen, and non-toxic airborne particulates.
