Job description

Do you want to shape the future of advertising creative technology at Amazon. Are you excited about building intelligent, agentic systems that help advertisers create high-performing ads at scale. Do you thrive in environments where you can think big, invent, and simplify?
Creative Experience (CrX) is the organization within Amazon Ads responsible for delivering the best, most optimized creatives to advertisers and shoppers across every Amazon surface.

Our team owns the end-to-end system for creative creation, optimization, and storage - from the moment an advertiser sets up a campaign to the instant a shopper sees a personalized ad. We power billions of creative impressions daily across display, video, and audio formats.
We are currently investing heavily in two transformative areas: building a state-of-the-art advertiser experience that makes creative setup effortless, and introducing agentic AI experiences that intelligently assist advertisers throughout their creative workflow - from asset generation to performance optimization.
The challenges SDEs solve for in CrX are big and influence millions of advertisers, shoppers, and products around the world. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating new products, features, and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and the pace of a company where development cycles are measured in weeks, not years

If this sounds interesting to you, apply and come chart your own path at Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack solutions - from front-end advertiser experiences to back-end distributed systems - that power creative workflows at Amazon's scale.
- Deliver novel customer experiences by developing solutions that make creative setup intuitive, intelligent, and delightful for advertisers and agencies.
- Use your problem-solving skills to tackle complex, ambiguous challenges - thinking big, inventing, and simplifying to find elegant solutions.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams across Amazon Ads to integrate and optimize existing ad products, taking advantage of Amazon's scale and reach.
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
- Build distributed systems - storage, indexing, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and easy to manage - in a large distributed computing environment.
- Leverage your technical ability, organizational skills, and communication skills to solve challenging problems and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other SDEs on the team, raising the bar for the entire engineering organization.
- Maintain a high quality bar - ensuring quality design reviews, robust engineering practices, automated testing, and strong code coverage across all deliverables.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software with rapid iteration cycles.
About the team
We are the Creative Experience (CrX) team within Amazon Ads, responsible for the end-to-end systems that power creative creation, optimization, and delivery across billions of impressions daily. Our technology enables advertisers to build high-performing display, video, and audio creatives at Amazon's scale. We own the advertiser experience layer, the creative rendering pipeline, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), and AI-powered asset generation

Right now, we're investing heavily in agentic AI experiences and a state-of-the-art advertiser workflow that makes creative setup effortless. We think big, move fast, and ship systems that directly impact millions of advertisers and shoppers worldwide.
