Job Description

A Solution Architect, with hands-on technical skills as Java/J2EE Technical Architect, for providing & evaluating architectural strategy, providing technical leadership, and subject matter expertise. This includes (but not limited to) researching, evaluating, comparing Technology Solutions options for customer's problem

1. Architecture assessment, strategy definition -
- Current state assessment
- Gap Analysis
- Future state recommendations
- Roadmap
2. Architecture document artifacts - Create & manage software architecture in SAD. Document non-functional requirements for quality attributes.
3. Technology leadership & mentoring -
- Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews
- Provide technical leadership at all levels during execution - through mentoring, forums & consultation.
- Technology Options generation - pros, cons & recommendations.
- PoC execution & ownership - for new technology options / solutions.
- Define standard & best practices.
4. Assisting with ROM estimates - with PM, tech lead & others.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies.
