Event Systems Lead
Department: Information TechnologyDirect Supervisor: Sr. Event Systems ManagerStatus: Full-time
Summary:
Responsible for providing hardware and software support services for stadium and training camp event systems to support game day and other events; whose priority include point of sale and access control systems. Additionally, responsible for the inventory management and maintenance of related devices, support and maintenance of equipment and coordinating technical resources to support game day and event programs.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, manage and support point of sale hardware, software and related technologies, experience with Clover a plus
  • Set up, test, and support access control systems, working with Ticket Operations and vendor partners were appropriate
  • Configuring staff credential access points across multiple event types
  • Coordinate with Clover, payment processors, integrators, and other third-party vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Support implementation of new technology-related projects, integrations and operational initiatives
  • Document, maintain up to date documentation on the support and maintenance of systems; ensuring that the SOP's are up to date with business operations
  • Monitor activity on all stadium related systems for security compliance, report any noncompliant activity
  • Assist with deployment, collection, tracking, and replacement of equipment and organization and maintenance of technology storage areas and inventory records
  • Proficient with hardware troubleshooting, system software, network architecture such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and VLANS
  • Support user needs with respect to point-of-sale or access control applications, interfaces, computer configurations and remote services
  • Coordinate the deployment, configuration, testing, and maintenance of turnstiles, access-control equipment, scanners, readers, and associated systems
  • Responsible for documenting all work performed and adhering to the Information Technology Policies & Procedures
  • Respond to event-day technology issues quickly and professionally to minimize operational disruptions
  • Proficient in understanding PCI compliant best practices and policies
  • Perform comprehensive testing of turnstiles, scanners, readers, networking, and associated systems prior to events

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology or related field with at least 5+ years of experience in event support, help desk support, POS and or other related systems
  • Skilled and experienced with networking, devices, security and Windows Operating Systems
  • Skilled and experienced with Office applications and any other industry standard applications in use by organization
  • Knowledgeable in Windows and Android Operating Systems
  • Collaborate with the internal/external resources to provide optimal technology solutions
  • Possess excellent communication and writing skills
