Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are looking forData Scientist interns for our growing team!


What you'll do here:

  • Translate complex, multi-source datasets into clear, business-ready insights, recommendations, and measurable impact.
  • Build production-quality analytical and ML code (Python/R), using modern libraries and best practices (testing, version control, reproducibility) to deliver robust technical outcomes.
  • Contribute to applied research and development that advances AI-enabled products - prototyping, experimenting, and validating approaches that solve real business problems.
  • Explore and evaluate cutting-edge methods across the fast-evolving AI landscape (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, geospatial analytics), and translate promising ideas into practical solutions.
  • Work hands-on with diverse data modalities - geomatics/geospatial, telematics/time-series, text, and images - linking patterns in the data to operational and strategic business decisions.
  • Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through concise narratives, visualizations, and well-documented deliverables that support product and business roadmaps.

What you bring to the table:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a field related to artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or any other related field.
  • Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2027 Term in hybrid mode (January to April).
  • Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Summer or Fall 2027 following your internship.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • At least one previous internship in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or deep learning is an asset.
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication skills with a self-reliant and high-ownership mindset.
