Role Description

The Account Executive drives growth for our Custom business through a mix of outbound prospecting and active account management, and is assigned a book of active and lapsed accounts to manage and grow while also building new pipeline through cold outreach and prospecting. This role blends new business development with the relationship-building and follow-through needed to keep existing accounts engaged and reactivate ones that have gone quiet.

This role suits someone ambitious and self-directed, comfortable setting their own priorities and taking ownership of their own results. The Account Executive will have real autonomy in how they manage their book and build their pipeline, backed by a team invested in their growth. Consistent activity and follow-through are key to success in this role.

ResponsibilitiesOutbound Prospecting & New Business Development
  • Proactively prospects and builds new outbound pipeline via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person outreach
  • Owns a personal pipeline and is held to outbound activity and new-account targets
  • Identifies and pursues strategic custom opportunities in untapped verticals and territories
  • Runs full-cycle sales conversations: qualifies need, presents product fit, handles objections, negotiates, and closes

  • Tracks personal and team sales metrics against monthly/quarterly goals; surfaces trends to leadership
  • Proficient with core platforms: CRM, Shopify, Slack
  • Takes on special projects as assigned and looks for ways to improve team workflow and execution

  • Prior experience in sales, customer-facing service, or business development preferred; a demonstrated track record of results matters more than years in the role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
