Job Description

The General Manager at Trokr Delivery Services in Saltillo, Mississippi oversees all daily and strategic performance for last-mile delivery operations at the WMS4 station located at 279 Jamie Whitton Drive. This essential leadership role drives overall operational excellence by managing workplace safety, service quality scorecards, vehicle fleet compliance, staff development, and strict financial budgets.This position establishes clear expectations, develops the leadership team, removes operational barriers, and ensures that all departments work together to deliver safe, reliable, and customer-focused results. The General Manager is accountable for creating a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and consistent execution.

Core Leadership Responsibilities

  • Operational Direction: With assistance from the Operations Manager, oversees daily loadouts, dispatches, route execution, and end-of-day closeouts.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforces traffic laws, driver vehicle inspection checks, and prompt incident investigations.
  • Fleet Oversight: Maintains vehicle readiness, tracks damage repair service-level agreements, and manages the fleet portal.
  • Workforce & Delivery Associates: Forecasts staffing needs, monitors attendance, and ensures ongoing driver coaching.
  • Financial Control: Manages labor hours, controls avoidable overtime, and tracks operating expenses against business targets.
