Job description

Interim Driver Trainer
Rural/Super Rural (RSR) delivers packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team training Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Driver Associates (DAs) on package delivery and vehicle operation. As a Delivery Trainer, you will train drivers on safe driving practices and high-quality customer service when delivering packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery locations.

In this position, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time at the right place.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with DSPs, Operations Managers, and Area Managers to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training-related activities.
Track performance and provide identified retraining and process improvement opportunities to further develop non-CDL driver, DOT regulated training.
Provide timely and accurate reporting on the completion of trainings, compliance, safety, and maintenance duties.
Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards such as: driver vehicle inspection reports, hours of service, trip planning and safe road driving practices.
Support equipment standard work within a node, including inspecting equipment, creating repair requests, monitoring repair execution, ensuring on-time preventive maintenance, managing campaigns and recalls, and maintaining unit history (e.g., for washes, warranties, registrations).
Work different shifts at various locations within the node on an as-needed basis to support the business and travel to support other sites, up to 50% travel
You'll also need to be able to:
Lift up to 49 pounds
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
