Job description

Amazon Ads is seeking a driven, creative communications professional to support advertising AI products and initiatives.
In this role, you will be part of the Amazon Ads Communications team, helping execute communications programs that showcase Amazon Ads' AI-powered advertising innovations to customers, media, and industry stakeholders. You will work closely with product and marketing teams to support strategic narratives and deliver communications programs that advance Amazon Ads' business priorities.
The ideal candidate has strong communications instincts, experience translating complex technology concepts into clear and compelling storytelling, and the ability to manage fast-moving launches and programs. This role requires someone who can operate both strategically and tactically - identifying storytelling opportunities and executing communications initiatives that drive business results.
Key job responsibilities
• Execute communications plans that support Amazon Ads' AI-powered advertising products, programs, and initiatives
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support narratives around AI, advertising technology, and customer innovation
• Support product launch and event communications, including messaging development, media outreach, and communications planning
• Craft clear, compelling storytelling that translates complex advertising and AI technologies into accessible narratives for a range of audiences
• Build and maintain media relationships with technology, advertising, and business reporters, securing coverage that drives business results
• Collaborate across communications, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and business priorities
• Support executive communications efforts, including messaging development and spokesperson material development
• Support multiple communications workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Experience in launching new products
- Experience supporting AI, advertising technology, or media products
- Track record of securing media coverage in technology or advertising publications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Interest in or understanding of AI technology, advertising innovation, or emerging technology trends

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
