Job description

AMTS is looking for a Design Field Coordinator (Revit / BIM) to join Semiconductor Construction / Advanced Manufacturing project in Boise, ID.


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Field Coordinator to support large-scale, high-tech construction projects. This role serves as a key link between design teams, BIM/VDC teams, and field execution, ensuring that design deliverables are coordinated, buildable, and ready for construction.

This position requires expert-level Revit experience and a strong onsite presence to support real-time coordination, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration between design and field operations.


Key Responsibilities

Design & Field Coordination

  • Act as the primary liaison between multi-discipline design teams, BIM/VDC, and field stakeholders
  • Ensure Revit models, drawings, and design data are coordinated and construction-ready
  • Participate in design reviews and field coordination meetings focused on constructability
  • Identify and resolve design issues before they impact field installation
  • Serve as the go-to contact for field questions, clarifications, and design support

Revit Expertise & Technical Support

  • Provide advanced Revit support, including troubleshooting performance issues, errors, and workflows
  • Manage model setup, views, families, and worksets
  • Support and enforce BIM/Revit standards and best practices
  • Assist teams with complex modeling challenges and technical problem-solving

Standards, Templates & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain Revit templates, standards, and workflows
  • Ensure consistency and compliance across all design deliverables
  • Capture and implement field feedback and lessons learned to improve processes

Training & Mentorship

  • Provide hands-on training and guidance to design and field teams
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for Revit and coordination workflows
  • Help elevate overall team capability through coaching and support


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in BIM/VDC, design coordination, or advanced Revit roles
  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit (required)
  • Strong understanding of multi-discipline coordination and construction workflows
  • Experience supporting field teams in active construction environments
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially in onsite settings
