The role of the AM Server is to create 100% Guest Satisfaction by serving lounge customers in a prompt and efficient mannerEnsures proper set up of tables to in the loungeInspects linen, silver, china and other items prior to using themTakes customer orders and provides suggestions for both beverage and foodReports beverage orders to bartenders, ensure drinks are garnishes before servingCoordinates service with other servers and ChefServes food and beverages to guests, refills beverages as neededRemoves dirty glasses, linens and dishes from lounge areaResponds to customer requests and complaintsCleans lounge area during and after eventsAdheres to legal and/or company policies and standardsUnderstands and follows the laws and guidelines for beverage serviceCloses out the customer's bill applying cash and credit cards in accordance with established proceduresCreates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations:Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service.Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction.Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.

Requirement/Skills
High school diploma or GED required
Two years of experience in similar position within an upscale environment is preferred
Basic skills in reading, writing, arithmetic
Must be at least 21 years old in order to serve alcohol
Must have excellent customer service skills
Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Ability to relate to all levels of guests and management
Must possess a strong team spirit
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
Ability to maneuver up to 150 pounds, occasionally, for short periods of time
Able to set up and take down tables, chairs, stages and other banquet meeting fixtures
Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs, occasionally
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, constantly

The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates.
