Job description

Job Title:         Quality Engineering

Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration:         24 Months (Possibility of Extension/Conversion)

Location:         Waterloo, IA 50703

Shift:                1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) – Overtime Possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality planning, control, and continuous improvement support for manufacturing and operations teams.
  • Support production through containment activities, inspections, quality procedures, and process monitoring.
  • Monitor and report quality KPIs to operations teams and management.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Utilize quality tools to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply management, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in product development and manufacturing engineering activities.
  • Conduct inspections and evaluate engineering work for compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in developing engineering specifications, quality standards, and process improvements.
  • Support project execution and cross-functional quality initiatives.
  • Drive root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain compliance with quality systems, industry standards, and company procedures.
