Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize research, foundational tax, and accounting skills to identify potential risks and opportunities on a variety of tax compliance and consulting engagements

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, projections, and models

  • Learn from on the job coaching and mentoring

  • Build on technical skills by keeping up with industry trends and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations

  • Demonstrate effective project and time management skills by being able to prioritize a variety of tasks and delegate work to associates.

  • Support the growth and development of team members and help associates meet their professional goals


Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting

  • 2+ years of public accounting experience

  • Self-motivation

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Foundational knowledge of technical tax concepts

  • CPA or EA license is preferred, but not required
