Location: Palm Beach, FL
Position: Admissions Director
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $85,000–$110,000 annually

Join Our Team

West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions Director to lead our admissions department and drive census growth. This leadership role is responsible for building strong referral relationships, overseeing the admissions process, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the admissions process from referral through admission.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and referral sources.

  • Review clinical documentation to determine admission appropriateness and authorization requirements.

  • Coordinate with nursing, therapy, social services, and finance to ensure seamless patient transitions.

  • Monitor bed availability, admissions activity, and census development.

  • Educate referral partners on facility services, specialty programs, and clinical outcomes.

  • Support patients and families throughout the admission process.

  • Partner with facility leadership to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility admission regulations.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare admissions, intake, case management, or business development experience.

  • Previous SNF or post-acute care experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous Admissions Director or Admissions Coordinator experience required.

  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and insurance authorization processes.

  • Understanding of healthcare regulations related to admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.

  • Experience working with interdisciplinary clinical teams.

  • Proficiency with PointClickCare, CarePort, NaviHealth, AllScripts, or similar referral platforms.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
