Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Physician Billing, the Manager of Physician Billing is responsible for billing and follow-up activities for assigned practice groups. Additionally, the manager monitors staffing, billing and collection processes to ensure department operational/financial goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Education and Work Experience:
    • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
    • Two or four year degree preferred
    • Healthcare revenue cycle management experience may be substituted for a degree
    • 3 - 5 year's management/supervisory experience in healthcare CBO environment preferred with a proven track record for A/R management

    • Must be able to communicate and/or process the knowledge, skills or abilities to effectively interact and are for the specific ages of patients served.
    • Must be able to cope with the interruptions, be flexible and a team player.
