Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to utility facilities, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
