What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a residential location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for residents, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries while following post orders and property protocols.
  • Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site instructions while reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
