Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel Paramedic for a travel job in Portage, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:

Paramedic - Paramedic

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 48 hours per week
• 96 hours per 2-week rotation: either 2 twenty-four hour shifts per week on a 24-hour base or 4 scheduled 12-hour shifts on a 12-hour shift truck
• Every other weekend required on a scheduled rotation with weekend days included on/off
• Holidays as needed and available
• No on-call requirements
• May need to float to other locations in north and central regions based on staffing levels on scheduled work days
• Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients
• Conduct ongoing assessment and required documentation of patient care
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and treatment as appropriate
• Initiate and implement interventions based on protocols
• Assist with treatments and tests ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse
• Identify, intervene, and stabilize ill or injured patients under the direction of and in collaboration with a physician and/or registered nurse
• Crew configurations may be a mix of EMT/Medic, Medic/Medic, RN/EMT, or RN/Medic depending on daily staffing
• Charting system utilized is the Zoll EMS Charts platform - training will be provided
• Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience required; 3 years preferred
• Interfacility transfer experience required
• Education: High school graduate and successful completion of an EMS paramedic program; Associate degree or certificate required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification, Active WI Driver's License in good standing, PALS, BLS, ACLS, and MI Paramedic Certification
• WI CCP (Critical Care Paramedic) Endorsement preferred
• AHA or ARC certifications required
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
