Job description

General Description:

At One Alliance, Product Management & Development serves as the organizational hub through which every critical function converges to align Actuarial, Legal, Sales, IT, Claims, Underwriting, Customer Service, Finance, and more, toward a single unified direction.


As a Product Analyst at One Alliance, you'll work at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution across both personal and commercial lines. You'll help bring new insurance products to life, evolve existing ones, and keep current products sharp by managing rates, rules, and forms with precision. Expect to dig into filings, coverages, in-force policies, and competitor activity, all while honing the technical and analytical skills that will build your career.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Regulatory Filing Support:

  • Prepares, submits and coordinates filings with various regulatory authorities for rates, forms, rules. Maintain filing logs and tracking systems
  • With supervision, responds to insurance department inquiries and requests for information on filings, collaborating with internal departments as needed
  • Supports data call requests, gathering and organizing required information



Data reporting:

  • Assist in the development and ongoing monitoring of multi-dimensional portfolio performance metrics to support data-driven decision making
  • Prepare quarterly reports highlighting the work and impact of the Product Management & Development group, working under guidance
  • Build clear, compelling data visualizations using Power BI


Technical:

  • Compile and manipulate data using SQL to support analysis and reporting
  • Design and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards that translate our business into actionable insights
  • Help define IT system enhancement requirements and validate data integrity



Additional Responsibilities:

  • Gather market intelligence through multiple data sources
  • Creation and/or maintenance of documentation for critical department functions
  • Manage program circulars


Some travel may be required

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Familiarity with insurance
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in teaching oneself new technologies and technical concepts
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Effectively communicate in English orally and in written form with management, internal and external customers
  • Must be flexible and adaptable in a changing business environment


Licenses and / or Certifications:

  • Pursuit of CPCU designation preferred
