Job description

MCI INC DBA MARTINEZ CONSTRUCTION is seeking a Jack of All Trades to support day-to-day jobsite needs in, CA.

Position Summary

The Jack of All Trades is a hands-on, versatile role responsible for assisting across multiple trades to keep projects moving smoothly. This position supports repairs, installations, and general maintenance tasks with a focus on quality workmanship and reliable execution.

Working onsite, you will help troubleshoot issues, complete assigned work efficiently, and coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed safely and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of general labor and skilled tasks across multiple trades as assigned

  • Support maintenance, repairs, and installations to keep job sites operational and work areas safe

  • Assist with troubleshooting common issues and completing corrective work in a timely manner

  • Prepare materials, tools, and workspaces; maintain cleanliness and organization at the jobsite

  • Follow safety procedures and work standards to minimize risk to yourself and others

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to perform jobsite work and handle varied task assignments

  • Demonstrated experience with general maintenance, repairs, or hands-on construction-related work

  • Comfort working onsite in a variety of conditions, including tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and bending

  • Basic understanding of safe work practices and jobsite professionalism

  • Reliability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience assisting with multiple construction trades (e.g., carpentry, general repairs, or installation support)

  • Familiarity with jobsite tools and equipment used for general maintenance and construction tasks

  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly the first time

Compensation

Hourly rate: $30.00 - $45.00
