Overview
Resort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times.
Job Duties
  • Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed. Ensures all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly (Essential)
  • Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential)
  • Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and places rubber mats down to ensure safety (Essential)
  • Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager (Essential)
  • Ensures that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings and facilities are well maintained and orderly
  • Ensures all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed
  • Ensures that all windows and screens are clean and functioning properly
  • Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc.
  • Ensures all offices and buildings are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed
  • Ensures all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 6 months in previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
  • Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
  • Abilities to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
  • Must have a valid driver's license
