Position Summary

Kent Island Resort is seeking energetic and service-oriented Restaurant Servers to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Servers are responsible for delivering prompt, professional, and attentive food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.

This is a fast-paced, guest-facing role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-first mentality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests throughout the dining experience
  • Promote and embody the VIVAMEE Virtues in all guest and team interactions
  • Greet guests, present menus, and make food and beverage recommendations
  • Accurately take and input orders into POS system
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service areas
  • Assist with opening and closing side work, including restocking and cleaning
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
Qualifications
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 if required for alcohol service)
