Job description

Tots & Teens Pediatrics is a respected and established healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the communities we serve. Our practice is staffed by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents through comprehensive and compassionate care.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – with a focus in Pediatrics to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. This role requires clinical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering evidence-based, culturally competent care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and developmental screenings • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric health conditions • Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate treatment plans • Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care models • Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal healthcare regulations

Qualifications: • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program • National certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) • Current, unrestricted Florida RN and APRN licensure • DEA registration or eligibility • Previous clinical experience in pediatric care (preferred) • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
