Job Summary:

The Filter Specialist will clean and maintain pool filters at client's homes and associated facilities for the company.  


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Cleans and maintains pool filters for clients and associated facilities for the company.
  • Manually cleans pool filters at client's homes based on assigned cleaning schedule.
  • Cleaning may involve backwashing, dismantling and deep cleaning of filters. 
  • Completes and maintains daily logs per branch requirements.  
  • Resolves client or customer problems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Extensive understanding of swimming pool filters.
  • Mechanical and manual labor skills related to aquatic facilities and equipment. 
  • Math skills to calculate chemical additives and ratios.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to maintain logs and records.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  
  • One year of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. 
  • Must have adequate sight and hearing to properly interpret water analysis, equipment readings, and complete recordkeeping.
  • Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning filters.
