Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Alignment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and correcting steering, suspension, and wheel alignment issues on a variety of vehicles. The position requires a combination of precision technical skills and general mechanical knowledge to ensure customer vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Perform wheel alignments in shops or in field using modern computerized alignment equipment (e.g., Hunter or Beeline systems) to adjust camber, caster, toe, and thrust angles to OEM specifications.

·        Diagnose, repair, and replace worn suspension and steering components, including struts, shocks, ball joints, tie rods, and bushings.

·        Test drive vehicles before and after service to ensure proper alignment and repair quality.

·        Document all services, repairs, and parts used accurately on repair orders.

·        Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.

Qualifications:

·        Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an alignment technician or automotive mechanic preferred.

·        Strong understanding of steering and suspension systems, as well as general repair knowledge.

·        High school diploma or GED equivalent.

·        Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

·        Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Must have basic hand tools.
