Job description

Big Moe Spring and Alignment is a heavy duty Spring and Alignment shop that has been in Atlanta since 1981. We are a small family owned company that is looking to add to our team. We are currently hiring for a service technician position with an opportunity to grow into other positions. We offer competitive pay, free telemedicine, dental and paid time off to our employees.

Alignment Technician responsibilities:

· Complies with all company safety regulations and guidelines.

*PRECISION ALIGNMENTS ON CLASS 1-8 VEHICLES*

· Perform inspections on suspension, steering and drive shaft components.

· Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency

· Installs and tests products to make sure they work correctly.

· Follows installation and operation manuals.

· Responds to service requests and repairs products.

· Communicate directly with the Service writer so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.

· Escalates issues to managers promptly.

· Knows how to use the necessary tools and equipment.

· Collaborates with managers and other service technicians.

· Follows all company policies and procedures.

This is a fulltime position, Monday - Friday 8am-4:30 pm. No weekend work or overtime is required.

Must be able to meet the following requirements:

Requirements:

· At least 2 years (preferred 5 years) of alignment and suspension repair experience.

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Learns new maintenance / repair skills quickly.

· Works safely and efficiently.

· Attention to detail.

· Verbal communication skills.

· Written communication skills.

· Proactive.

· Problem-solving skills.

· Basic IT skills.

· Team working.

· Heavy duty parts knowledge.

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Punctual.

· Handles the physical demands of the job, including lifting at least 50 pounds.

· Communicates effectively, and collaborates with other workers.

· Time management.

· Own tools (preferred)

· ASE certifications in suspension repair / pneumatic brake repair / steering system repair (a plus)

· Bilingual (a plus)
