About the Role:
Dr. Mae Sheikh Ali Endocrine Center in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our specialized medical team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting patients navigating complex endocrine conditions and the emotional challenges that come with them. Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy to patients managing chronic endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, and hormonal conditions
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver integrated, whole-patient care
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support to patients and families
  • Connect patients with community resources, support groups, and social services
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
  • Participate in care coordination meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Requirements:
  • Active Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
