Job description


The Sr Marketing Manager, Amazon is responsible for driving sell-through, share growth, and account marketing strategy for the Amazon channel across the portfolio of brands. This role is accountable for traffic, conversion, and share growth.
This role operates as the primary marketing leader for Amazon, orchestrating cross-functional resources from Growth & Demand (media), Digital Shelf & CRM (shelf standards), Brand CoE (brand briefs), and IHA/Content CoE (assets) to execute against omnichannel standards. This role partners closely with Product Marketing and Sales to define the Amazon account strategy, build the account marketing calendar, and lead all account-facing marketing execution - leveraging CoE experts as needed for sell-in.
This is a hybrid role; we work on site 4 days and remotely 1 day, weekly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Serve as the primary marketing lead for the Amazon channel - account-facing across the retailer and internally across the RMEO organization.
  • Develop and own the Amazon account marketing strategy in partnership with Product Marketing, CoEs and Sales
  • Build the Amazon marketing calendar to maximize channel potential across seasons, launches, and key moments
  • Drive Amazon sell-through, ROAS, and share growth by brand across the Amazon channel
  • Partner with the CoEs to ensure Amazon account success while adhering to omnichannel standards and guidelines
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources from Growth & Demand , Digital Shelf & CRM (PDP standards), Brand CoE (briefs), and IHA/Content (assets)
  • Own Amazon retailer relationship in regards to marketing- including Amazon Ads reps, Amazon Retail team, and agency partners
  • Lead A+ content, brand store, and PDP execution in partnership with IHA and Digital Shelf & CRM - briefing content against Amazon spec
  • Manage Amazon search rank, sponsored placement, and organic ranking strategy in partnership with Growth & Demand
  • Own Amazon algorithm intelligence - search terms, competitive positioning, and organic performance drivers
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on Amazon channel performance including sell-through, ROAS, share of search, review velocity, and availability
  • Lead ROI analysis, campaign tracking, and competitive analysis to inform future Amazon investment decisions
  • Partner with Merchandising and Sales on Amazon promotional calendar and joint business planning
  • Escalate media investment needs and shelf issues to the appropriate CoE - pod lead coordinates, does not own headcount
  • Report Amazon channel KPIs (sell-through, ROAS, search rank, availability) to RMEO Lead
  • Support set up of new skus for 3P partners

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• 7+ years of Amazon marketplace, ecommerce, or retail media experience
• Proven track record developing and executing Amazon growth strategies including Sponsored Ads and DSP
• Strong understanding of Amazon algorithm, search dynamics, and PDP conversion drivers
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with fluency in Amazon reporting tools
• Experience managing agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to educate and influence others in the organization
Preferred Skills:
• Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central experience
• Experience with retail media planning and unified investment frameworks
• You have an account owner mindset - you treat Amazon like your own business, not just a marketing channel
• You are analytical, data-driven, and use performance data to drive decisions
• You have excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and a strong sense of urgency for deadlines
