We're seeking an Algorithm Engineer to help solve complex detection and classification challenges that support global aviation and homeland security initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Develop algorithms for detection, classification, image analysis, and AI/ML applications.
  • Design tools and methods for data analysis, testing, validation, and model improvement.
  • Research and apply emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to move concepts from research to production.
  • Document technical work and communicate results to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions that enhance security screening capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Experience

 Early Career Engineer (0-2 Years)

  • Academic, internship, research, or project experience in AI, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or software development.
  • Familiarity with algorithm development and data analysis.

 Emerging Engineer (2-4 Years)

  • Hands-on experience applying algorithms, machine learning models, or data analysis techniques.
  • Experience developing technical solutions in academic or professional environments.

 Experienced Engineer (5-8+ Years)

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing algorithms or AI/ML solutions.
  • Strong technical expertise in machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or related disciplines.
  • Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership is a plus.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:

  • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
  • Computer Vision & Image Processing
  • Object Detection & Classification
  • Deep Learning
  • Python, MATLAB, C++
  • TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Windows and Linux development environments
  • Explainable AI

Experience in aviation security, cargo screening, military systems, or threat detection applications is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain applicable U.S. Government security vetting.
