We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity. * What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.

* It's the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together. YOUR MISSION As a Senior Flight Software Engineer at True Anomaly, you will gain experience at every phase of the spacecraft program including design, analysis, manufacturing, test, and flight.

The company culture is one of innovation and speed, so if you are looking for a place that allows you to reach your full potential, this is the job to consider. RESPONSIBILITIES * Support the software development lifecycle for flight computers used in space missions, including design, development, integration, and test activities under the guidance of senior engineers. * Assist with the integration of complex GNC algorithms with flight software.

* Contribute to the Command Telemetry Database (CDTB) definition and maintenance for ground and on-orbit test and mission * Collaborate with flight software, GNC, avionics, ground C2, and systems engineering teams to support end-to-end mission development and test efforts. * Help develop and test command scripts, sequencing logic, and fault-response behaviors for spacecraft operations. * Assist in the development and maintenance of subsystem models and simulators for hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) and software-in-the-loop (SITL) environments.

* Implement and test components of device drivers, interfaces, and communication protocols for flight hardware, with mentorship and code review from experienced engineers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field * Coursework or project experience in embedded systems, low-level software, or real-time systems * Familiarity with C or C++, and basic experience with Python for scripting, testing, or tooling * Exposure to operating systems or real-time concepts through coursework, labs, or personal projects * Ability to learn quickly, take feedback, and work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Previous internship, research, or project experience involving embedded software or robotics systems * Familiarity with embedded interfaces and protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, or Ethernet.
