About Our Agency:
I opened my State Farm agency in January 2021 after working for another agent in Springfield for three years. I’m an Illinois College grad with majors in History, Communications, and Spanish, and I live here with my wife, Ashley, our two kids, and our pets, Ella and Rufus. Our office has a “work hard, play hard” culture so it’s not uncommon for us to watch sports or grab lunch together, but at the end of the day, we’re all focused on growing the business and taking care of our customers. My mission is simple: I take care of my team so my team can take care of our customers. I’m looking for someone who’s hungry to learn, humble enough to work well with others, emotionally smart, and gritty enough to push through challenges with a positive attitude.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Alec Bartz - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.
Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
