Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation is a US-based gold and silver mining company, which operates its wholly owned Hycroft open pit, gold, and silver mine located an hour southwest of Winnemucca, Nevada.
Job Description
As a Security Tech you will be a responsible and vigilant member of our team to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining a high visibility presence and preventing illegal or inappropriate actions. Able to handle confidential information.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and integrity. You will also have previous experience in security or law enforcement, and prior medical training will be a plus.
Responsibilities
• Patrol and monitor the premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or danger.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
• Enforce rules and regulations of the property and report any violations or incidents.
• Assist visitors, contractors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare and submit daily reports and logs of activities and incidents.
• Maintain and operate security equipment and systems, including CCTV, alarms, locks, etc.
• Lead and/or assist with random drug and alcohol testing and post-accident testing.
• Lead and/or assist with random vehicle searches as needed.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a security officer or guard.
• Prior medical training preferred.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines and procedures for security operations.
• Ability to operate security equipment and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Requires valid driver's license.
