Position Summary
As an Aesthetician at Alchemy Face Bar, you'll provide customized skincare treatments, educate clients on achieving their skincare goals, and create an exceptional experience from consultation through checkout. You'll combine technical expertise with thoughtful recommendations to help every client feel confident in their skin.
At Alchemy, we believe the best providers understand every part of the client experience. Our aestheticians are cross-trained throughout the spa, creating a collaborative environment where every team member contributes to exceptional service.
What you'll do
+ Perform skincare services according to Alchemy Face Bar protocols and standards (injectable services not required)
+ Create personalized treatment plans based on each client's skin goals
+ Educate clients on home care, treatment plans, and product recommendations
+ Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and consistent follow-up recommendations
+ Maintain accurate client documentation, including treatment notes, allergies, medications, and preferences
+ Follow all sanitation, infection control, and safety standards
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space
+ Assist with opening and closing responsibilities, stocking treatment rooms, laundry, and daily spa operations
+ Participate in ongoing education, team meetings, and hands-on training
+ Support community events, pop-ups, and promotional initiatives as needed
+ Work collaboratively with teammates to deliver an outstanding client experience
Cross-Training
We believe exceptional client care starts with understanding the entire client journey.
Our full-time aestheticians work:
+ Four treatment shifts each week
+ One approximately six-hour Client Experience shift supporting front desk operations, guest communication, scheduling, and retail education
Cross-training allows every team member to confidently support our clients while creating a seamless experience throughout the spa.

Qualifications
+ Current Texas Esthetician or Cosmetology license
+ Ability to work a full-time schedule

Compensation-
Aesthetician Compensation:
+ 28% - 30% on net service sales
+ 10% on product sales
+ 100% client gratuity
+ Monthly performance-based bonus opportunities
+ Commission increase opportunities after one year
Receptionist | Client Experience Compensation:
+ $20.00 / per hour
Estimated Annual Earnings:
+ $60,000 - $90,000 -based on schedule, performance, client demand, retail sales, and gratuities.

Schedule
This is a full-time position.
During our Austin launch, the anticipated schedule is:
+ Thursday
+ Friday
+ Saturday
+ Sunday
As Alchemy Face Bar grows, we will expand to seven-day operations. Team schedules may evolve to support business needs, although this position may continue with its established schedule.
Physical Requirements
This position requires:
+ Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift)
+ Frequent walking between floors throughout the day, as the treatment room is located on the second level of the spa
+ Climbing stairs multiple times during each shift
+ Bending, kneeling, reaching, and performing repetitive hand and arm movements
+ Lifting and carrying up to 10-15 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance
