What you will be doing

SHAW'S DISTRIBUTION CENTER in Denver, PA, is a division of Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers with 2,300+ stores. The Albertsons Companies family of brands includes some of the most prominent brands in food retailing, with a growing base of loyal shoppers.

We are searching for a Diesel Mechanic to join our skilled team at the SHAW'S Distribution Center located in Methuen, MA Positions offer a competitive, comprehensive benefit package, annual tool & boot allowance.

Position Overview

• Maintain and repair refrigerated trailers and reefer units.
• Diagnose Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Support trailer and fleet reliability for grocery distribution operations.
• What You Will Do
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment.
• Read electrical and refrigeration schematics.
• Identify warranty repairs and complete documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow technicians.

Qualifications

• Truck, trailer, reefer, diesel, or HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• Ability to obtain EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Ability to obtain ASE Heavy Truck Certification.
• Basic computer proficiency and maintenance software experience preferred.

What we are searching for

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy duty tractor/trailer repair. May require valid DOT physical card and a CDL driver's license.
• May need certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment
• Ability to work full-time with the ability to work any shift.
• ASE Certifications
• PA State Inspection License a plus.
• 608 & 609 Refrigeration Certification
