The National Sales Representative is a full-time role that can be based in-office. This position is responsible for selling direct mail services and digital advertising solutions to large national customers across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct sales, a deep understanding of the direct mail advertising industry, and a demonstrated ability to close high-value deals. Comprehensive sales and product training is provided to ensure success in this role.
What You Will Do As A National Sales Representative
  • Proactively drive and close large revenue sales while managing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed assigned weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls, emails, and prospecting activities.
  • Manage and process marketing leads from various sources, including sustainable campaigns, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts accurately.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and research to understand customer challenges, requirements, and business objectives
  • Identify key decision-makers within target accounts, develop relationships, and generate interest in our solutions.
  • Maintain and expand a database of potential prospects and dormant leads, leveraging CRM tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams to drive business development and enhance sales efforts.
  • Deliver compelling online sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to prospective clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to refine sales strategies.

What You Will Bring As A National Sales Representative
  • At least 4+ years of direct sales experience (required).
  • Prior experience using CRM software (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Experience in advertising, digital marketing, or direct mail sales is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in high-performance sales environments with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Persistent, results-driven mindset with grit, self-motivation, and a consultative approach to sales.
  • High comfort level in engaging with C-suite executives and decision-makers, navigating complex conversations confidently.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel (minimum intermediate level).
  • Proven ability to perform engaging sales presentations through video conferencing platforms.

Pay Range*: $54,000.00 - $72,000.00 annually
*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
