To thrive as an Alarm Response Security Officer, you need a solid understanding of security protocols, quick decision-making skills, and often a security officer license or relevant certification. Familiarity with alarm monitoring systems, two-way radios, surveillance cameras, and incident reporting software is typically required. Strong observational skills, calmness under pressure, and effective communication help you respond efficiently to incidents and interact with clients or law enforcement.
