Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Operator in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while providing a professional, visible presence for occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
