Make any necessary minor repairs to the fire alarm systems. FUNCTIONS OF THE JOBInspects various fire alarm panels and devices for proper functionality.Obeys and abides by all company rules and policies.Makes necessary minor repairs to fire alarm systems.Maintains, accurately completes, and promptly turns in all paperwork associated with the fire alarm inspections to the appropriate Customer Care Representatives.Maintains stock of spare parts as specified by the Service Supervisor or Service Operations Manager to effectively support the position.Understands and adheres to the inspection and safety standards developed and defined by the Company and administered by the Service Supervisor and Service Operations Manager.Maintains a detailed understanding of all local and national codes applicable to Tech Electronics' fire alarm systems and ensures systems adhere to applicable codes.Responsible for suggesting methods to improve operations, processes, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.Obtains and maintains manufacturer and industry certifications as scheduled by the Service Supervisor and Service Operations Manager.Overnight and shift substitution work may be required.Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and managers to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement. POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education:Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent industry work experience. Experience:Two years working on commercial fire alarm systems.
