Job Description

As a Security Officer Alarm Response, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm-related activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of activity in lobby, office, and restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business location, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
