Alabama Education refers to the public and private education system in the state of Alabama, encompassing K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and various educational programs. The Alabama State Department of Education oversees public primary and secondary schools, while several public and private colleges and universities offer higher education opportunities. The system aims to provide quality education to prepare students for college, careers, and civic life. Education in Alabama is governed by state laws and policies, including standardized curriculum and assessments.
