Lead clinical excellence. Shape a culture of care. Make your RN leadership matter.
Spring Arbor of Severna Park is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (Resident Care Director) to lead clinical operations across our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned RN who is ready to own the clinical direction of a thriving community - with the autonomy, resources, and team support to do it right.
Severna Park is one of Maryland's most desirable communities - a waterfront town with top-rated schools, a vibrant local culture, and easy access to Annapolis and Baltimore. For the right clinical leader, this is both a career-defining opportunity and an exceptional place to call home.
What You'll Own:
  • Full clinical oversight across Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing nursing and care team
  • Complete resident assessments, develop service plans, and coordinate admissions and move-ins
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing AL and Memory Care
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and clinical operations
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in MOD rotation every 6 weeks and remain available on-call as needed

What You Bring:
  • Active RN license in good standing - required
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience in senior living, AL, or Memory Care - preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience with resident assessments, service plans, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining the highest standard of resident care

Why Spring Arbor of Severna Park?
This is more than a clinical leadership role - it's the opportunity to build a care culture you're genuinely proud of, in one of Maryland's most beautiful communities. You'll have real influence, a dedicated team, and leadership that invests in your success.
