SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The Senior Ramp Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations on the airport ramp, including aircraft handling, baggage loading and unloading, and coordination of ground support services. This role demands ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and efficiency in handling all ramp activities to minimize delays and optimize turnaround times. The Senior Ramp Manager is tasked with managing a team of ramp agents and ground support staff, providing training and guidance to maintain high standards of service. Additionally, this position involves close coordination with airline representatives, air traffic control, and other relevant airport departments to ensure smooth and synchronized operations. You will also play a crucial role in implementing emergency response procedures and handling incident investigations when necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES

โ€ข Develop and implement operational strategies for ramp activities to enhance efficiency and safety while reducing turnaround times

โ€ข Monitor and manage the deployment and maintenance of ground support equipment used in ramp operations
โ€ข Implement and oversee quality control measures to maintain high service standards and minimize errors
โ€ข Liaise with airlines, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to address operational issues and improve ramp services

QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข 18 years of age or older
โ€ข Eligible to work in the United States
โ€ข Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
โ€ข Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of experience in ramp operations or ground handling in an airport environment
โ€ข Proven leadership and team management skills
โ€ข In-depth knowledge of airport ramp procedures and safety regulations
โ€ข Strong organizational and communication abilities
โ€ข Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
โ€ข Familiarity with industry-standard ground handling equipment and procedures
โ€ข Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
