Job description

Chandler and Campbelle Investment Group, in partnership with ABM Aviation, is seeking a highly organized and dependable Dispatch Operations Specialist to support airport shuttle and transportation services at Nashville International Airport (BNA). This is a full-time, on-site position working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced airport environment. The Dispatch Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable transportation operations by coordinating real-time communication between shuttle drivers, dispatch, and airport personnel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating two-way radios to communicate assignments, route changes, safety updates, and operational information to shuttle drivers throughout each shift. Daily responsibilities also include conducting vehicle inspections alongside drivers using handheld digital devices, transporting drivers to and from secure airside locations as needed, monitoring vehicle and driver activity through GPS tracking systems, responding promptly to telephone inquiries, and assisting with daily dispatch scheduling and operational coordination.

In addition to dispatch responsibilities, the Dispatch Operations Specialist will utilize Microsoft Office applications to prepare pass-down reports, maintain dispatch logs, manage email communications, and support daily administrative functions. The position also includes training on the operation and basic support of electric vehicle charging stations and fuel pump systems. Compliance with all airport, TSA, ABM Aviation, and Chandler and Campbelle Investment Group safety policies and procedures is required at all times.

Qualified candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and be able to successfully pass all Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), airport security, and pre-employment drug and background screening requirements necessary to obtain and maintain an airport security badge. Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, or customer service is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, and the capacity to remain calm and professional while working in a fast-paced operational environment.

This position is fully on-site at Nashville International Airport. Comprehensive training will be provided for all specialized airport systems, dispatch procedures, vehicle charging equipment, and operational processes. Uniforms and all required equipment will be supplied in accordance with company and airport standards. Applicants must be dependable, professional, customer-focused, and willing to work a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts while maintaining the highest standards of safety, operational excellence, and customer service.
