Schedule: Part-Time | Must have Open Availability (Schedule varies daily based on flight operations)

Important Scheduling Requirement (READ CAREFULLY)

This position requires 100% open availability.

Your schedule will be based on daily flight operations and may change at any time. Because this role is directly tied to airline activity:

  • Schedules will mirror flight schedules

  • Shifts may change, start late, or be adjusted with little notice

  • Shifts may be shortened if flights are canceled

  • Shifts may be extended due to flight delays

  • Your assigned hours depend entirely on airline and passenger flow

Schedule flexibility is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates must be fully available to work any shift assigned based on operational needs.


Position Overview

Aviation Security Screeners are trained in multiple critical airport security functions, including:

  • Aircraft Access Control: Monitor jet bridge access and ensure only authorized personnel enter aircraft

  • Aircraft Ramp Access Control: Secure and inspect aircraft while on the ramp (AOA)

  • Catering Security: Inspect catering equipment, food containers, and delivery vehicles

  • Charter Screening Security: Screen passengers on charter flights in compliance with TSA guidelines


Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High School Diploma or GED required (must be available for file verification)

  • Must be able to pass a Department of Homeland Security background check for airport security clearance

  • Must pass all required training classes and examinations

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

  • Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle preferred)

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain airport security badge

  • Clean background in accordance with federal airport security requirements
