Their duties include checking in passengers, handling luggage, guiding aircraft on the tarmac, ensuring passenger safety, and providing customer service. Ground staff play a crucial role in making sure that flights run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. They also help with boarding, resolving passenger queries, and coordinating with other airport departments.

Familiarity with ground service equipment, baggage handling systems, and radio communication devices is typically required. These skills ensure safe, efficient operations and smooth coordination between flight crews and ground services, which are critical for passenger safety and timely departures.

What are some of the main challenges faced by airport ground staff during daily operations?
